Museum Center
ICB has performed many installations for Museums. One of
the larger installations has been for the Historical Society in the Museum
Center.

Museum Center
Cincinnati's famous 1930's Art Deco Union terminal, a huge
500,000 square foot facility was targeted for demolition. Fortunately,
the historic building was saved and renovated as the city's Museum Center.
The half domed structure now houses an Omnimax theatre, a Natural History
Museum, and an extensive Historical Society exhibit area.

The Public Landing
The Historical Society exhibit installed by ICB comprises
30 permanent theme areas, 17 of which incorporate audiovisual enhancement.
The focal point is a full size re-creation of the original Cincinnati
Public Landing complete with cobbled streets, shops, houses, the Ohio
River (with real water), and a steamboat moored at the Landing.
The entire AV portion of the exhibits is managed by an AMX
control system which permits one-button start up of all of the exhibits
at the beginning of the day. Exhibits are triggered by proximity sensors,
pushbuttons, wireless remote controls, or are switchable to automatic
cycle. Audio, video, and lighting are controlled by the system using methods
ranging from contact closures to analogue voltages to SMPTE timecode synchronization
