Live Sound Clinic including ear mold Demonstration - Wednesday May 2nd, 2007 at 7.00pm

On Wednesday May 2nd at 7:00 pm ICB Audio & Video hosted a free live sound clinic and seminar featuring free custom ear molds for earplugs and in-ear monitors, provided on-site courtesy of Dawn Flinn from Ear Everything, Inc.

Dawn Flinn returned to ICB by popular demand, where she has provided custom ear molds on other occasions to packed rooms. Dawn is a certified audiologist and makes custom ear molds for musicians, race car drivers and others with hearing issues and works out of her office EarEverything, Inc. in Indianapolis, Indiana. Custom ear molds are impressions of the user's ear that can be used to purchase earplugs and in-ear monitor sleeves that provide a perfect fit inside the ear cavity. Dawn Flinn provided special pricing for all who ordered earplugs and in-ear monitor sleeves the day of the seminar.

This informative seminar was perfect for church, theatrical and live performance sound engineers.

Attendees at this free clinic also saw demonstrations of in-ear monitors and how they relate to in-ear molds courtesy of microphone manufacturer SHURE; A demonstration of On-Stage Monitor Mix System from AVIOM that allowed attendees to hear the difference between on-stage in-ear monitor mixes as you would in a live performance situation; and a demonstration of digital mixing consoles from Yamaha Commercial Audio, including the capabilities of the industry-leading DM2000 and the new LS9 Digital Mixing Console.
