Stork Recording Studio This is an example of a recording studio designed from the ground up by ICB.
We performed construction supervision and supplied all equipment. This particular studio was constructed in the basement area of a large private residence and was for the personal use of the owners. The main application of the studio was music recording.
The studio comprised a control room, a studio,
an isobooth, and a restroom. A floating construction technique was used
to minimise sound transmission both into and out of the studio. An independent
air handling system and isolated ground electrical circuits were installed.
The control room features a Mackie 8 bus mixing console and Alesis ADAT
recorders for multitrack recording.
